It's all in the genes ... well I want a new pair ... Oops not that sort of jeans!
In my family, there have been cases of diabetes on my mother and father's side. So, it was pre-destined that one of us would have diabetes at some stage.
On my father's side .... my father, my uncle and cousins of my Aunty have diabetes.
On my mother's side ... my aunty had it ... and in the worse case scenario was deceased due to many complications of diabetes. Wouldn't go to the doctor ... I will be right ... and ended having a heart attack.
So check your family history ... it is important.
